One of my favorite watches, the Skagen men’s watch got broken recently. And I tried my best to find a good place where I could have it fixed. I fell into this situation once before when I had to search for reliable watch repair shop to get my dad’s watch fixed after he dropped it into a machine. Fortunately, it was tough enough to not only stop the machine but left some damages on it! That’s insanity.
Anyway, that’s another story. And after asking my friends and doing some research online, I finally found out W Kodad Jewelers, a watch repair store located on a crowded street with many shopping malls around it. And approached the watch store. And Kim, the watch repairer, also the boss of the store who owns a Rolex mens watch, met me with his smile.
He basically said that my situation is typical. And he’s fixed countless number of watches before including Casio watches such as the Casio PRS330, one kind of watch that is really hard to fix. So I felt relieved and handed my watch to him for checking. Then Kim took my watch to his team and told them to look after it for me.
I use W Kodak Jewelers to get our watchband cleaned and replaced. I have used them over the years for a couple of times a year. They have been very good. I do not spend too much there. I do not use them extensively; they are a jewelry store but we use them for my watches and not for jewelry purposes. I would rate them highly for value, courtesy, and service as well.
